Ashford Inn is named after Colonel John Ashford, who fought in the infamous Civil War battles of Gettysburg and Fredericksburg. His family occupied the house during the Civil War period and is responsible for many of the renovations that still exist in the home today. This inn is located 12 miles from George Hi Plantation and 22 miles from Nature Adventures (Tours).
